Ban the Bomb Train

Campaign
Date
August 2015
Format
JPG, PDF

This image is for a sign or a stencil. It was made for the commemoration of the explosion of an oil train in Lac-Mégantic, Quebec on July 6, 201  when an unattended 74-car train carrying Bakken oil rolled down a 1.2% grade hill and exploded downtown – killing 47 people and leveling much of the downtown. The signs were used in 2015 at a press conference at the site of a rusty 99-year old railway bridge in downtown Milwaukee, where the very same train is believed to have passed.
